Born from a sunny evening in Cornwall during a university surf trip looking for Isaacs pet tortoise (Greg) who had escaped ... again. Morgroban was created. Although we didn't know that would be the name yet but the idea was cemented.

To escape London, surf more and make some really cool clothes too.

The logo was always going to be a turtle. Not only as a tribute to Greg but due to a long standing turtle based nickname system in our founders family.

The name? Well that came fairly easily... after months of uncertainty. One day, out of curiosity the Cornish word turtle/tortoise was researched. MORGROBAN.

From the moment we locked eyes on it. We KNEW. Morgroban was the name.

Good for the Planet:

Morgroban products are made with natural and recycled fibres with a focus on minimising the use of synthetic materials within our products and packaging wherever possible. We also try to use suppliers as close to home as possible to minimise emissions associated with manufacturing, shipping and the operation of a fashion buisness.

Good for People:

By using suppliers that meet GOTS, fair-trade and other core sustainability standards it’s not just the planet that benefits. These certifications ensure that the people growing and harvesting the fabric and making our clothes are paid fairly, have safe working conditions and are treated like human beings not robots. The good doesn’t stop there. Morgroban is on a mission to do good by making donations each year to charitable causes.
